Friday Nov. 23/2007 - Westlake Center Downtown Seattle - Join us! Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Where: Downtown Westlake Center
What: Seattle Macy's Day-After Thanksgiving Day parade
When: Friday Nov. 23/2007 from 9AM until ?
The Seattle Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on Friday November 23, 2007 is a big one! Lots of families, couples & singles enjoying the parade which means plenty of chances for witnessing or open airing! Come & join us down there!
Please bring your own tracts; a good variety since there will all kinds of opportunities. Contact us if you'd like to join our team or meet us at Westlake Center. Or come on your own! The more people proclaiming the gospel, the better!
Let's preach the gospel in a manner worthy of our Lord Jesus. Many people will be here to entertain themselves, not realizing that eternity is one day closer for them. One day they will stand in front of our Lord to account for their lives and without Jesus as the propitiation for their sins, they will be damned. Let's be concerned about them & get out there. Let's be the one's to tell them the Good News of Jesus Christ and that today is the day of salvation!
For souls!
Psalm 71:15 (NKJV)
My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.

Ozzy Osbourne & Rob Zombie at Key Arena Oct.18/07

Ozzy Osbourne & Rob Zombie at Key Arena - Oct.18/07
Heavy metal fans will converge on Key Arena for Ozzy's first arena tour in six years in the U.S. They will be here on Thursday October 18/07.
As a former metal fan, I can tell you that some fans here love the darkness & worship the music & Ozzy. I remember thinking that it was just music, but it's more than that. There are a lot of outcasts who desperately cling to this because they want to belong. They confuse the darkness for light. But darkness is no match for the Light, Jesus Christ. This is a lost group that needs desperately to be reached with the Gospel.
Prayerfully consider coming out with us. Please contact us if you would like to join us. Please bring tracts & water. For souls.
John 3:19 (NKJV)
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil

Sept. 9 - Seahawks 1st Game of the season! More than 66,723?!!

66,723. That's the attendance for the Seattle Seahawks 1st preseason game on Saturday. Here are some pictures from that day.
We had 6 faithful seed sowers at this game for this massive crowd that tracted for over 2 hours. Praise God, many schedule tracts were well received and we pray for souls to be saved.
Sept.9 is the 1st game of the regular season and we need hands & feet. Please prayerfully consider coming out with us. The game starts at 1PM. We will be arriving at approximately 11:00AM at Qwest field for prayer & to begin seeding tracts. Please bring a bag to hold the tracts in. For souls.

Seattle Seahawks Opening Day!! Saturday August 25/07

It's finally here, the 1st Preseason game the Seahawks are playing at Qwest Field on home turf! We provide the tracts, we just need hands & feet & prayers to distribute the 2007 schedule tracts.
These are similar to the tracts that we handed out during the Seattle Mariners games. Would you prayerfully consider coming out with us? We are expecting the schedule tracts to do well since very few people will have a new 2007 schedule. There will also be opportunity to do one-on-ones with people tailgating in the parking lots.
Saturday August 25/07 we will be arriving at approximately 4:30PM at Qwest field for prayer & to begin seeding tracts. Please bring a bag to hold the tracts in. For souls!

PAX Gamers Convention - 12,000 youth converge in one place!

Penny Archade 2007 - the PAX Gamers Convention. The doors open at 2PM on Friday at the Washington State Convention Center at 800 Convention Pl. This is close to West Lake downtown Seattle. The doors open 10AM on Sat & Sun.
PAX is a 3 day game festival for tabletop, videogame & PC gamers. There will be dedicated tournaments, freeplay areas & also a weekend-long Omegathon event. The exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers.
PAX will run from Fri Aug 24 - Sun Aug 26. We are expecting the attendees to be aged 11-25. This is an amazing opportunity to seek & save the lost at an age that is crucial. I find this age group much more attentive, tender hearted & also much more receptive to the Gospel. We have been planning for this convention for months & believe that it will be very fruitful. There will be people coming in & out until 3AM.
If you'd like to come out with us, please contact us. We have made special tracts for this occasion & will be providing them whether you'd like to come out & tract or witness or both.
For souls.
Psalm 103:17-18 (NKJV)
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
18 To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
Hempfest - Aug 18-19

In past Hempfest's the attendance was over 150,000 over 2 days. What a coincidence - over 150,000 people die everyday.
Hempfest had over 1,000 volunteers which tells you how big it is.
We'll be out at Hempfest if you'd like to join us. Please pray for us & also pray whether you should come out to Hempfest.
The details can be found on their web site

100,000 Muslims here in Seattle! Arab Festival - August 4-5, 2007 - Seattle Center

I have friends who are Muslim as I'm sure many of you do. They are earnest, God-seeking people who need the gospel like anyone who doesn't have Jesus as their Savior. But how will they know if someone doesn't tell them?
100,000 , mostly Muslims, will be at the Seattle Center for the Arab Festival on August 4-5, 2007 at the Seattle Center. This is an enormous opportunity to introduce Jesus to our Muslim friends. I think there are some groups that will be there that will NOT be preaching love to the Muslims so I think it's important to prayerfully consider attending and giving them the right gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here is the web site of the festival if you'd like details.

For souls. For the time is short and we do not know when our King will come back & judge the world in righteousness.

Kenji Johjima Free Bobblehead Night - Friday June 29, 2007

Friday June 29 is free Kenji Johjima Bobblehead Night. The last Bobblehead night was sold out! That's almost 40,000 people! They come early to line-up so you have a captive audience for almost 2 hours! It is a wonderful opportunity to tract & open air preach.
We are expecting tons of people so we'll be to the ballpark 3 hours early (we'll be there at 4PM). We want them to think about eternity. There is more than this, more than just going to a ballgame. We want them to know that there is something more than just entertaining themselves. Because one day they will have to give an account to the living God. And what a fearful day that will be if they did not repent & put their trust in Jesus, the only Saviour that can save their soul.
Please bring tracts. We typically tracts 300-500 tracts per seed sower. We've found that any "card" type tracts are easy to distribute & popular.
Please prayerfully consider coming out with us. For souls.
Matthew 9:36-38 (NKJV)
36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

May 14-20 Mariners Tracting Outreach

Please check our Mariner's calendar for tracting opportunities at Safeco field from May 14-20, 2007. There are 2 very special dates. Friday May 18 is free Felix Hernandez Bobblehead night. The last Bobblehead night brought in almost 35,000 people to the park. It is a wonderful opportunity to tract & open air preach. Saturday May 19 is free equipment bag day. This should also attract a lot of people.
The Mariners schedule tracts are almost all seeded so please bring tracts in case we run out. We typically tracts 300-500 tracts per seed sower. We've found that the $1,000,000 tracts are very popular here.
Please prayerfully consider coming out with us. We would also love your prayers in this ministry. For souls.
Luke 10:2 (NKJV)
Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

May Day

May Day - Immigration Rally March in Seattle.
A picture says a thousand words. An incredible amount of people that may go to Hell if they are not soundly saved. Just as it is all around us. On the bus, at work, at the ballgame, shopping for groceries .... everywhere you look. It is heart-breaking. We know this because the Bible says:
Matthew 7:13-14 (NK JV)
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Please mark this date next year. It would have been an awesome opportunity to open air preach. But we had very few seed sowers at the May Day rally today. There were 30,000+ that marched today. It was a busy day of seeding an incredible amount of tracts. We praise God for the privilege to GO for Him.
The $1,000,000 bills were so well received that our seed sowers were mobbed for them! People were very eager even when we ran out of million dollar bills & gave out spanish tracts. Thousands of seeds were distributed. Every seed is important and the more seeds out there, the better. Because how will they know about the Good News if we don't GO & tell them? What if no one ever told us about the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ? What is important is putting the gospel in the hands of people who may have never seen an accurate gospel presentation to give them a fighting chance to get right with God.
What does matter is that we do pray for laborers. Today was another example of the fact that we must pray hard to the Lord of the Harvest if we want to have more seed sowers soldiering with us to save souls.
Luke 10:2 (NKJV)
Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
I continue to ask you, implore you, beg you to pray Luke 10:2 every day. For souls. For our King, our Lord Jesus who died a vicious, awful, lonely, cruel death & then rose again on the 3rd day to defeat death. He did is so that you and I and everyone you know, don't know, see, don't see, talk to & work with could have the incredible gift of salvation by the cross through repentance & faith through our Lord Jesus to whom belongs all the praise, all the Glory & all the thanks all the time. For souls.

Mariners Game Outreach Report (April 27 to 29/2007)

Over 8,500 seeds for our Lord Jesus Christ in 3 days and 18 laborers. We serve a big and good God and we give Him all the thanks & credit for the huge amount of tracts sown. I'm so very grateful that I can give the tract rather being the one who needs to receive a tract, aren't you? It's a privilege that He allows us to be a part of the process and allows us to sow, water or reap if we'll just be obedient & GO as He commanded us. Go tell it to everyone.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Please keep checking this blog for more scheduled Mariners game tracting outreaches. We want to partner with God to seed 25,000 before the end of the month. If you'd like to partner with us, please email us & bring a bag to distribute tracts. The details are on the calender.
Please continue to pray that the Lord of the harvest raises up laborers so that we can get the gospel in the hands of those who are perishing.
FOR SOULS.

Day And Night
1 Thessalonians 5:5
You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
I love these pictures of downtown Seattle. It's the same shot. Day & Night. It can be so beautiful here in Seattle but also very dark. Dark describes the spiritual state of Seattle because we live in the most unchurched city in the most unchurched state. I heard that there are more dogs in Seattle than evangelical Christians. Hmmmmm ...... perhaps we should start evangelizing dogs in hopes that they will convert their owners? Too bad it doesn't work that way.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seattle is a big city. Include the surrounding area's and it's downright huge. Its kind of scary to share the Gospel in Seattle. But it's also very exciting because it's virtually untapped. We have the best news of all & it's such a privilege to be able to deliver it. Not everyone is receptive to the Gospel but it's amazing how many people have never heard it before & it cuts to their heart because they know that it strikes truth. That is the power of God.
Hebrews 4:12 (New King James Version)
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summer is coming & with it are a lot of events & festivals. We can't cover them all & the games but included at the bottom of every blog until the end of the summer will be a schedule of "fishing" spots from April to September 2007 that we may be hitting. Or grab your tracts and get out there! Please go in at least 2's as we were appointed, or join us.
Luke 10:1
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
There will be some special events/festivals coming up & we will be making up some special tracts. We'll keep you posted on that. If you'd like to join us, we'd be privileged to partner with you. You can email us for details of where we will be going at: jesus@cablespeed.com
Most of all, we ask for your prayers that God would send laborers to the harvest field. It's souls, it's all about Jesus & what He came and He died for. God Bless all of you.
Matthew 9:36-38 (NKJV)
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Take me out to the Ball Game!

Mariners Game Report - April 13-15/2007
"GO". I'm talking about The Great Commission. That's why this blog is called "God Adventures". It takes Guts (yours) & Glory (His). Because it's ALL about Him.
Here is the weekend report. The schedule tracts for the Mariners game are finally in! Everyone tracted an average of 300-500 tracts per seed sower! Do I hear a "Praise God" out there somewhere?!! Very few of them were tossed away when we left the stadium and I'm pretty sure that most of these tracts will still be with people for several months because the Mariners Schedule is in the tract. We all had a wonderful time with a lot of good reports.
There are several incidents worth mentioning & recognizing. They show what a BIG God we serve and how He will make a way if you are obedient to do what He asked us to do.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations ... teaching them to observe all that I commanded you ....". It's the last thing He asked us to do before He ascended to Heaven.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Over the weekend approximately 4300-4500 tracts were passed out and I think only a few angry responses. Pretty good for 1.5 hours at each game.
2. Tract everyone. I mean EVERYONE. One seed sower tracted one of the vendors (but didn't know she was a vendor until later) who asked if she could take some back INTO the stadium in case anyone wanted any tracts. Can she take some to take inside the stadium?!! Oh yeah!!
3. One of the seed sowers noticed a camera crew there for FSN (local subsidiary of Fox Sports News). Nervously, she walked away from the director & camera man. Then directed by the Holy Spirit, she turned back and obediently tracted them both. The director looked at the schedule & asked if it was from the Mariners organization. She replied, "no, but to read the back of the schedule". To her horror, they did read it - right away! You know that feeling, don't you?! ;-P Then the most unbelievable thing happened - they asked her for an interview to explain it on camera! The seed sower was overjoyed yet naseous at the same time. But another fellow seed sower spoke on camera to share the gospel (brilliantly) in a short amount of time. This shows the importance of being prepared, having a gospel presentation ready. What would you have done?
Afterwards she was speaking to the crew & found out that they were Christians & talked to them about the Gospel and salvation. A special shout-out to John (director) & Nick (cameraman) for filming footage & allowing us to speak about God's redemptive plan to potentially thousands of people watching at home. Now that's a BIG God!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you please pray about that God would send laborers to the harvest field? It's souls, it's all about Jesus & what He came and He died for. Thank you!
